Established in 2018, Greenhall Capital Partners (Greenhall) is an operationally focused private equity firm
with offices in Los Angeles, CA, and Washington, DC specializing in control investments in middle-market companies
within the business services, TMT, and industrials sectors. Greenhall invests and engages in institutional-level
diligence for its institutional investors. Greenhall partners with companies that have revenues ranging from
$15 million to $125 million. We are currently deploying capital from various investment vehicles.
Position Overview:
Greenhall is seeking a skilled Private Equity Associate with experience in investment banking, consulting, or
private equity. The Private Equity Associate will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating new investment
opportunities, supporting the raise of third-party institutional capital, and managing our portfolio companies.
Position Responsibilities:
- Due Diligence: Conduct due diligence, financial modeling, and valuation of prospective acquisitions, including competitive and market studies.
- Third-Party Institutional Capital Raising: Prepare investor materials and presentations, such as pitchbooks and term sheets for prospective limited partners.
- Deal Execution: Lead execution of transactions, including financial modeling, target negotiation, transaction structuring, and legal documentation.
- Deal Sourcing: Identify investment and acquisition targets through conference attendance and proprietary reach outs.
- Portfolio Management: Work in conjunction with Greenhall portfolio companies by reviewing their performance and ensuring the value creation plan is in place; may include board member or board observer roles.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience: 2 – 5 years of experience in private equity, consulting, or investment banking.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Skills: Strong quantitative and financial modeling skills with experience in M&A, leverage finance, or restructuring. Highly motivated self-starter that takes initiative.
- Attributes: Excellent academic record, open to moderate travel, and a demonstrated problem solver.
